Hey. I haven’t posted in a while and my hits are going down down down. Anyway, the contest is still open, please enter. I am finally posting again, so be happyful. State testing is coming up and its really hard. We took a 95 problem language arts test and I missed 17  solid B for me. My teacher is so… ugh. Oh well, there are only, like, 27 more days of school left. Yay! I am feeling quite happy… wait… no. I have mixed feelings about everything. Recently my dad has told me I was sort of a “trend-setter” well, that can get really annoying when people are constantly copying your ideas and work. Here’s a list of everything being copied by me: everyone is using my idea of “most recent comment” and I am really getting mad, in my class everyone copied me today and someone said I was copying him!, and, well, plenty more I just don’t wanna say names… Grr, yay, ugh, meow? Lol. Here is a list of my fav. songs:

  1. Stronger by Kanye West (for techno style).
  2. Feelings Show by Colbie Caillat (overall).
  3. Forever by Chris Brown (for music).
  4. Say by John Mayer (for the message it spreads).
  5. Seventeen Years by Ratatat (for heavy techno style).

And that’s the top five I guess. I have written the reason I like them after the artist’s name. If you’ve never heard of these songs, go ahead and look ‘em up. You may be surprise to find a new favorite song.

Ding Ding Ding! New Picture: Music is Life!

Recently I have been creating many new pics, hope you like them!

Hi, today was quite a day. We reached 11,100 today, I had Justin over at my house. We made pies, but I didn’t take any pictures. My dad, Ty, and I went to the vet to get our cats, Lucy and Carla, tested for stuff or something. The wait was long and after we went to Petco to get some stuff. While my dad wasn’t looking I snuck in a mouse made for cats filled with catnip. It wasn’t for the cats - but for me. :) I love it! It’s so cute! He’s a brown mouse about the size of your common cell phone. Yesterday, Ilan came over to my house and we finished our artist report on Jackson Pollock! So, about the fishy story: I had several morals ready to reveal in this post, but due to this post’s delay, I forgot them. Lol. So, what to talk about. Oh yes, Jamie, I did mean to take you off my blogroll, you are so mean to me! It was an honest accident. I also am working on a completely new layout for this blog. Yay! I haven’t actually started yet, but it will be great! Swear! Umm.. we need a contest and fast! I will add another section to this post later. I have to go to bed now!

^^^ all links have been taken off. Nya-nya. Deal with it.^^^

Please comment saying your ideas for the contest!

Update: The contest is whoever can make a background for my blog (like the checkers, for example). This idea is brought to you by: CoolPengu. Thanks! I will post the guidelines later in a page titled: Contest™.

Hello, again. I am writing this for many reasons: I am bored, I need to post, My brother is playing Guitar Hero III and I am waiting my turn (I have actually grown to like it, though I am not getting any better), and I haven’t gotten a hit all day! I’d love for you to comment, please do. I will be working with C.S.S (Cascading Style Sheets) a little more these days so keep a sharp lookout for changes. So, my family is visiting and I went to see the play Wicked with them. It was excellent and funny. And sad. And Corny (in a good way). And Stupid (in a funny way). So, I enjoyed it very much.

Hmm… what to post about? Well, hmm, uhh, I haven’t a clue (lol, funny saying). Let me see if I can just think of something as I go along… so, here is a fictional story with a moral (written in second person!):

You are an only child who is very creative and lonely. Your parent/guardian has no time for you and you have no pets. You are walking down the road and you see a small orange “thing” on the ground. You go to pick it up and you see it is a fish. Its fins are cut, its skin is dry, and its gills are trying desperately to take in air. You pick it up and take it home. When you get home you put it in a jug of water with some rocks at the bottom and a little food floating above him. At first he floats in the middle of the jug, surrounded with so many confusing new things and then he takes a little bit of food and goes to sleep with his eyes open. The fish had a dream that someday, it would be better and wouldn’t need someone to care for it. So he could go back to the pond he once lived in. After several weeks, when you get home from school, you look for the jug, now a habit from constantly doing so. You stare at it for a while not knowing what to think or say. After half an hour of staring you get up and ask your parent/guardian if it died. They say, “You had a fish in here?” and you say, “Of course. What do you think I was doing with all that fish food?” “I haven’t a clue.” (lol). So you lie down. And rest. And think. And wait for the fish to come back. Was it a fish, or was it imaginary? Was it real or fake? Alive or dead?

I am not going to tell you the moral Mwahahahaha! You have to figure it out your self!!!

Go to my friends sites on my blogroll!!!

Here is a pic of a pie I decorated (enjoy pie-lovers, it was filled with my favorite, pudding!): pie.png

Wow… Hey, peeps. Guess what? We reached 10,000 hits since last time I have posted. Our hits have been soaring higher and higher, so thank you. I have made a new header, I like it a lot. Please post a comment saying whether you enjoy its presence here on my blog. :) Here is my new favorite quote:

Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes.

~Andy Warhol

So, yeah. We reached a very impressive number and I am very happy about that. Keep thinking about the contest people! I really need your ideas. To top it all of with a big “sha-bang”, I am finally on Spring Break . So, hooray! If you don’t know, I am doing Jackson Pollock for my artist report project in school with Ty (my brother) and Ilan (one of my BBF’s). We had fun replicating his work, and it looks “friggin’* sweet,” as said by one of my classmates. I am very happy with it and it is really cool. ;) So, lets see what I can come up with as a heart-squeezing post…

It comes from the…

Do you think with your brain? Or do you think with your heart? Do you even think at all?

If something where to hurt you… for example, a ball hit you in the head really hard, do you say, “Ouch, who did that? When I find out… O your soo dead!” or, “Hmm… that wasn’t very nice…”

If you say something along the lines of number one, you definitely think with your heart. You say what you think needs to be said, and nothing less or more. If you would say number two, then you think with your brain. You don’t want to be mean or get hurt, so you make your point quietly and shyly.

Sometimes, thinking with your heart can be associated with not thinking at all. If you say whatever is on your mind, sometimes things will come out wrong and you will get in deep trouble.

Well, that’s about it. Thanks for reading and enjoy this new picture. Don’t forget about the contest, and as I said before, post a comment about your ideas for it. Sorry for the late post, it wouldn’t publish. :)

Just Plain Terrible™ April 3, 2008

Hey, people. I am back with a new post. My friend is over right now. ;) I wish all of them could be. So, I was thinking of having another contest. If you would like to enter, then suggest your idea and we’ll vote off those! So, I am still sick, my phone is gone, etc. So, today something terrible happened to me that I would love to not have done. I almost lost my temper and exploded… if you are interested read on.

In my third period of school, English, we are reading a book called Where The Red Fern Grows I hate the book for many reasons. We finished it today… and guess what? The ending was the saddest thing. I won’t tell you in case you want to read the book yourself, but it is very, very sad. So, many of us cried, including myself. It is a terrible thing to go up in front of the class and say, “Don’t laugh at the people who are crying,” like he did, because he made everyone direct their attention toward us… I am very mad at him and right after that we had to write in our *shudders* journal. I wrote him a “friendly note” in it. It told him that he should have just given us a summery of what happened. But, why was it so sad? The answer is: it made all of us think about the sad deaths of our previously owned companions (pets). I remember thinking, ” I am not going to cry, I hate this book,” but as I found later, people only had been crying because of the thought of their deceased pets. My first thought was, “Stardust, why did you have to leave?” and then, “Milkshake, what did those medications do to you?” They were both my previous guinea pigs. I had a fish, but she/he only lived for… around 2 weeks. :( It’s been so long, I don’t even remember why Stardust died, but here is the sad story of the death of Milkshake:

We needed to get milkshake to the animal hospital (vet) because he was sick. They injected him with medications, then he became very tired. My mom told m, “He’ll wake up,” and he did. But he was very tired. I took him out to hold him and he was so weak, he couldn’t even keep his head up. So, he used my stomach as his pillow (he rested his chin on my stomach). The drugs (medications) that Milkshake had taken were not supposed to make him tired, so my mom took him back to the vet. When she arrived she called my dad. I was watching T.V. He turned it off at the commercial and sat down, “Milkshake… didn’t make it,” I was strong, and didn’t immediately start crying but then the dreaded thought came over me: I will never see Milkshake again. I began to cry and continued to for the rest of the day and all night, until I fell asleep.

So, how did your pet leave the world for the next (heaven or whatever you want to call it)? It’s okay if you do not want to talk about it. I understand. Here is a ‘lil pic for y’all to enjoy: bee.png

Hey, people. I am sick still… very sick. So, I was at home all day. I am currently watching a squirrel. He is very evil. So, I have a very bad headache, cough, runny nose…. the works. I cannot think of anything deep to post about… … … … I haven’t done much CSS work in a while… maybe I will sometime. My phone started to work again… and then it worked even better… then, I lost it. :( Not fun. So yeah. I think I have a post-worthy topic. Finally.
Do you have control? And to what degree, way, shape, form, fraction, decimal, or percentage? If somebody all of a sudden slapped you in the face right now, and you didn’t do anything to provoke it, would you slap back? Or Ask why? There is no wrong answer. Depending on your personality and common sense, you will either choose one or the other. It’s that simple. Their are little answers like, “No, I’d flick him/her,” or, “No, I’d giggle.” But their are two over-all choices. Hurt the person, or Don’t. I will give you a test. Please take it and comment with your answers below.
1.) A person doesn’t turn in their part of your group project. Do you…
a.) …yell at them.
b.) …try to make up the work yourself.
2.) A person tries to punch your best friend. Do you…
a.) …say, “Stop that!”
b.) …let it happen.
3.) Your teacher gives you and F on your report. Do you…
a.) …cry until your eyes are red and puffy.
b.) …ask why.
There are no wrong answers. If you chose “A” for most of your answers, then you are a quick thinker that does the first thing that comes to mind. And if you chose “B” for most of your answers, then you are a person who doubts themselves and constantly has second-thoughts. Remember, if you don’t have control, things could get wacky. But on the other hand, if you have too much control, you will end up going through life as a pushover. Even if you are in the dead-center, you will not be perfect because nobody is nor ever will be. That is all I have to say for now. No new pic this week peeps! Sorry.

Many Discoveries™ March 17, 2008

Hey, people the last few days have been filled with many discoveries. I have recently discovered my passion of making widgets. If you would like to view my “inventory,” then go to my new site for widgets: http://widgetpalace.wordpress.com/ . Enjoy them. Siena (a.k.a Jellopenguin) is now an Administrator (Admin) for mostly behind-the-scenes work with my Custom CSS (Cascading Style Sheet(s?)) If you would like this job and know about CSS, I am sorry, I can only trust friends from school with being an Admin.
So, the biggest discovery of the week is about my beloved hamster, Muffin… his favorite song is Black Magic Woman by Santana. My family owns a Wii and the game Guitar Hero III, and my dad plays it alot (I don’t play much at all). While he was playing Black Magic Woman, Muffin was running on his wheel. You could tell he loved it because: he barely runs at 9:00 p.m. and he only ran at parts where his wheel sounded like the notes in the song. You could really tell that he was listening to the song. Amazing? Yes. Okay now for a sorta deep post:
Swearing. A word that frightens little kids and makes adults yell. But what is so bad about them? They are

just words. But, there is something wrong with them—actually many things. It gives you a false sense of power, it hurts people’s feelings, it is rude, and just plain stupid. If you swear, why? What is the point? Does it make you cool? Daring? Do your friends like it? People swear at my school. Do you want to know if I swear? No. I don’t. What does it matter if you say darn instead of the “D-word”. Sometimes if you replace a bad word with a funny word, you can make people laugh. If you have a swearing problem try this: Instead of saying a bad word replace it with poo* (for example). “You are a poo*!” Is way better than swearing. What is the point of swearing? No point found. Many people consider themselves cool to swear. It makes you seem daring. But it really isn’t. A couple sentences before, I mention the phrase “D-word”. It has the same effect in a way. People also think they are cool if they tattle on others for saying a bad word and it can get very obnoxious by constantly saying, “You said the _-word!!!” That is also just plain stupid. Well, if you are offended about this post because you, yourself, are a constant-swearer, think about how other people feel when you swear at them. “Respect yourself and others will respect you,” as Confucius said. Thank you and that is the end of the post.

Hey people. I am posting again for all of your entertainment and my boredom. I went to the Orthodontist today. I got, in addition to my headgear and braces, rubber bands for my overbite. The hurt so bad, I think I’m going to die. I wanted to say something interesting and deep (Josh: I am not copying you, this was one of my main reasons for creating a blog) because I think I may bore you and I want this blog to be more interesting. So, here is my attempt to say something that will sting your hearts in a powerful and exhilarating way. Please give me feedback on how well I did because I want to know if I should keep posting for this reason.
If you don’t like someone in your school, do you make fun of them? Do you laugh at them with your friends? Do you attempt to be friendly with them or do you just automatically reject their personality or style? Many of these things you and I may do, but is it correct?
If a kid has dandruff (the bad kind) and starts itching his head a foot way from you, do you say, “Stop making it snow!”? Do you laugh at their dry scalp problems?
If a kid is poor and hasn’t gotten new shoes in 2 years, do you wear expansive brands (for example: Abercrombie, American Eagle, or Aeropatle) just to gloat in their face?
If a kid has a mental problem or is just a little slow, do you snicker behind their backs? Or did you try to become their friend?
What if that kid was you and you didn’t have any friends. Would you cry or just keep doing what they dislike just to annoy them?
I have a light case of dandruff and a dry scalp. People just recently found out and already are treating me differently. Before I found out I had dandruff two days ago, I laughed at a person for “making a blizzard”. I didn’t make fun of him, but when others did, I just laughed to myself. I wear Abercrombie and American Eagle for style and comfort, not to make people jealous. In fifth grade, I kid came to our school. He was and still is a little slow, but I was friendly with him. My reasons for attempting to be his friend were: he seemed nice, nobody was talking to him, and the most important: his smile made me happy. When he came I was jumping rope with my friends. He joined us. While he was jumping, he was laughing and having a wonderful time. When I saw his smile, I suddenly had a feeling of pure joy because I was sharing it with him. He turned out to reject my friendship and now we only talk when he decides we should, thats part of his mental issue, he cannot have friends.
So next time you see someone with a problem of any sort, don’t be as mean as you can possibly be. If you must be rude to them, do it quietly to yourself in your head so nobody else is disturbed.
Thank you for reading my extra-long post.
~Adam :D

Click Here for a new pic inspired by Justinbob. It wasn’t meant to be great, more to be funny. He is sitting on top of a pile of bamboo in a forest of bamboo. You’ll see why it is so funny when you look at the pic. It may not be that funny, but we both thought it was.

Some of you may be wondering about the post title. Well, I am very stupid. Today something terrible happened to something very valuable.
Today, at my brother’s baseball game, I was talking to Mason (his site is on my blogroll) on my cell phone (a black Samsung). We talked for about an hour, and them the game was over. My pant-bottoms had slipped under my shoes a bit, therefore, getting them muddy. My dad said, “As soon as you get home, put new pants on,” I said, “Okay,” (ish) and did what I was told. I put my pants on top of the washing machine to be washed, and then left. Shortly afterward, I realized my phone wasn’t in my pocket. We were at Ikea (a furniture store) and I told my mom, “I think I left my phone in my pocket. And I put my pants on top of the washing machine,” She said, “I threw all the clothes into it,” By then, we had both realized what had happened. When we got home, the first thing I did was look inside the washing machine. I found my phone at the bottom. I went outside to were my mom was, showed her it and… I started to cry. Now, about 20 minutes late, I have finally stopped. I have learned one thing from this:
Cell Phone + Washing Machine = Dead Phone.
